She is committed to addressing racial disparities in housing and investing in targeted, culturally informed solutions to ensure every Minnesotan has access to a safe and stable home.

Amal’s career in education drives her commitment to high-quality learning opportunities for all. She will work to expand early childhood programs, improve special education funding, and address inequities in K-12 schools. Amal also supports free tuition for two-year programs and enhanced financial aid for college students to ensure equitable access to higher education for all Minnesotans.

Healthcare is a human right. Amal supports moving toward a single-payer universal healthcare system and expanding MinnesotaCare to include more residents. She will fight for comprehensive coverage, including mental health, dental, and addiction treatment services, while addressing rural healthcare disparities and improving maternal health outcomes.

Amal envisions Minnesota as a leader in combating climate change. She will advocate for clean energy investments, expanded public transit, and equitable environmental policies that prioritize communities most affected by pollution. Small businesses are the heart of Minnesota’s communities. Amal will push for grants, low-interest loans, and tax incentives to support small business owners, particularly women and people of color. She also supports raising the minimum wage and expanding childcare access to help working families thrive.

Amal is committed to safeguarding reproductive rights in Minnesota. She will fight for expanded funding for reproductive healthcare providers, equitable maternal care, and comprehensive sex education. Amal supports the Minnesota Equal Rights Amendment to ensure gender equality and protect reproductive freedom.

As a proud ally, Amal will defend the rights of LGBTQ+ Minnesotans, particularly trans youth, who have been unjustly targeted.
